2012 Camp Card
A Quick and easy way for units…
to raise money in 2012!
Dear Scouts, Parents and Unit Leaders:
Team up with our local Camp Card merchants and the Coastal Empire Council as a partner in your fundraising efforts for 2012. The Camp Card Sale is a great way to help your unit raise money with very little effort. Each card includes over $500.00 of customer value through the purchase of your Camp Card. Your Scouts can earn up to 50% commission on each card sold. Last year, the average Scout unit sold between $1,000 and $2,500 dollars in their Camp Card Sale. Think what your unit could do. The 2012 Sale dates are March 16-May 18.
Simply sell each Camp Card for $5.00, and your Scout unit receives a $2.50 donation for each card sold. Recipients receive a wide variety of discounts to local merchants and restaurant worth over $500.00, so the Camp Cards sell themselves. Each discount does not expire until March 1, 2013 so your supporters have plenty of time to redeem their cards. Churches, school sporting events, co-workers, friends & family are all great targets to sell your Camp Card. Your unit profits could be in the $1,000’s.
If you have any questions regarding the program, please feel free to contact your District Executive or the Council office. We will roll out the Camp Card sale at our Council Program Preview on February 9, 2012. We will host a council-wide unit Training and Camp Card Sale Kick-off on Thursday March 15 in Savannah. Cards will be available at the Kick off and Council office starting March 16. Details of the sale can be found on our Web site at www.bsasavannah.org under Camp Card Sale beginning in February.
