Heritage Merit Badge Camp at Black Creek Scout Reservation July 8 - 12, 2010
Come Join Scouts and Scouters for five days of fun in beautiful southern Georgia
Earn all four of the 2010 Centennial merit badges; as well as fun games and fellowship. This will be the event you and your fellow Scouts will not want to miss.
Sign up now as space is limited. If you sign up before May 1, 2010 you will pay the early bird fee of $120. Before June 1st the cost will be $130. After June 1st the fee will be $140. Bring a tent and have the time of your life learning how the Scouts of the 1930’s did Scouting. We also will offer Wilderness First Aid Basic certification.
and Leave No Trace training. There will also be evening games and activities.
Come with your Troop or as a provisional Scout and
make new friends. We are also looking for staff to
help with the operation of this camp program.
Pathfinding, Tracking, Carpentry, and Signaling will only be offered this year in honor of the 100th Anniversary of Scouting in the USA. This is a once in a life time opportunity! Scouts in years to come will ask where you got these badges from. Be the Scout who comes out and learns how Scouts camped in the first days of the Scouting program. Learn some of the games that Scouts played on Brown Sea Island England and Treasure Island, PA.
If you have any questions please Contact the camp program director Micah Donaldson at 912-414-7649 or mdonalds@bsamail.org
