Liberty District Cub Campout

To all Cub Scouts this is a great event your pack will not want to miss. In the Hinesville area on Sept 24-25, 2010. The Liberty District will host the Liberty District Cub campout. Our Cubs will learn about Native American culture through crafts and dance activities. These Cubs will learn how to make chokers, bandoleers, beaded belts, beaded head dresses, breastplates, native American games, and old style dance. We are also looking to have the OA sing team come to show native American singing. Please make plans to attend this event. Cubmasters note that each pack will cook breakfast and lunch as a pack dinner Sat. will be a cookout put on by the staff. Please plan to have eaten before you arrive on Friday and bring a few gallons of drinkable water.

Where: Holbrooke Pond, Hinesville


Activities: Native American Dancing at Pow Wow, Native American crafts 


Who can attend: All Cub Scouts and Siblings of the Liberty District
Fee: $12 per Youth and adult

DIRECTIONS

Holbrook Pond off of Hwy 144 and I-95.
Go 16 miles down 144 just before mile marker 13, the entrance to Holbrook Pond is on the left.
Go thrugh the stop sign which is a tank crossing!!!
Go straight and follow the registration signs.
